Roan, aged 12 months, is able to stand with hand support at chest height.
However her balance is precarious, as she does not make the small adjustments in weight distribution that are needed for maintaining a wide base of support (BoS) and maintain the LoG close to the center of the BoS.
When she reaches for a toy she topples over the the side.
Roan has also not learnt to flex her knees and realign her body and weigh distribution to keep her CoM over her base as she reaches down to retrieve a toy. As a result her CoM shifts backwards and sits down backwards.
